Sahwa Net- The Yemeni regime
has embarked on setting up a military base north the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, the
Emirate newspaper, Alithad, said.
The newspaper quoted
witnesses as saying that they watched heavy weaponry that were transferred to
Zajan , an area located north the capital.
It further said that the
military forces belonging to the Republican Guard comannded by the son of Saleh,
began building the base.
"Large military convoys,
including tanks, armored vehicles and personnel carriers, were watched on Monday
heading towards the new base" eyewitnesses said.
