Undeterred by the recent failure of the political to solve the conundrum that has become the country's power –transfer deal, the Youth Movement is continuing its escalation campaign marching and demonstrating against the regime daily. Most of the protesters have been given a boost in confidence at the sight of Libya's victory against its tyrant, wanting to believe that their turn will come next if only they hold on firm.
Fresh rallies were organized in Sana'a, the capital, Taiz, Ibb and al-Baydah which have become the main driving force behind the revolution.
As for the past previous weeks, demonstrators were relentlessly calling for Saleh trial and the freeze of his assets, branding him a murderer, a criminal and a liar.
Protesters also denounced the recent shelling of the villages of Arhab, accusing the government of killing innocent civilians in a bid to stifle the revolutionary movement, adding that nothing would ever stop the people from prevailing over tyranny.
"It such act of senseless violence which is pushing us to demand a non-immunity clause. How can anyone extend immunity to such a cold blooded criminal? Who could ever stand for him and defend his actions?" asked a man in "Liberty Square".
In Taiz students were lobbying against the re-opening of the University, accusing the regime of trying to use study as bait to better arrest the Youth and crackdown on the revolution.
In Ibb where organizers have announced that they were planning for a new escalation, slogans calling for the fall of the regime resounded loudly throughout the city. Many were chanting that Saleh would meet Gaddafi's fate and his son Ahmed that of Saif al Islam of Libya.
In al-Baydah too, a large march took place today as more and more protesters are joining in as they say it is the last stretch in the road, stressing that it was their duties as Yemeni to stand against a corrupt regime.
Banners demanding the Arab League to suspend Saleh's membership were carried and anti-regime slogans chorused by thousands upon thousands of Yemeni men and women.
Similar scenes took place though 17 provinces, proving that the Yemeni Revolution is very much alive and its momentum strong.
