In a meeting with the
general manager of Yemen LNG, Mr. Francois Rafin, the Yemeni prime minister
stressed the economic importance of LNG project and the need to employ its
revenues to boost the national economy.
From this point, he asked to
reconsider the LNG bargain to be sold at fair price according to the prices in
the international market. Yemen sells Liquefied Natural Gas for $4 whereas the neighbor
gulf countries sell it for $14.
